Day 1

After landing in bangkok, we took the MRT(underground)/BTS(above ground) to the hotel!
Because it was only my mother and I, I had to carry the heavy luggae (can't expect her to carry it right) and sorry but I have to say this but bangkok is so not elderly/luggage friendly!!!
I had to carry the luggage down a two flights of stairs, roll it along the really long overhead bridge and carry it even more!

After getting to the hotel, I was so tired even before doing any shopping!
After lazing for a while we left around 3 for the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
It was crowded, hot and stuffy, but it's absolutely worth going!
Its also very huge, so make sure to get a map at the police station before making your way around the market :)
On the first day alone, I got 7 items for $50 sing!
A shirt is around 100bat ($4 sing) there and the most expensive thing I got in the market was 300bat (which is still $12) for a midi pastel dress!

We were so hungry that we settled for some clean shop for dinner!

seriously just look at this freaking cute bulldog sleeping at the shop!!

Dinner~ I want to get a heart shaped mould too!

 Day 4

(Skipping day 2 cause all i did was go back to the market and shop like crazy and on day 3 i went to platinum mall which has a lot of accessories and the cool thing is that its organized by levels! so like shoes one floor, bags one floor, you know what i'm talking about~ and there are two towers. awesome.)

Finally on the last day it was time for some good food (after eating food court and weird stalls for the past days)
We went to this cafe called greyhound cafe at siam paragon which my uncle recommended and it was damn good!! believe me. plus, our meal was only $30 sing and you'll never get such a good price for such good food anywhere else!
Its on the third floor, please try it if you go to bangkok!

chicken wings devoured
At night, we went to Asiatique (a tourist shopping place) and its beside the river, so we had to take a boat there!

We had dinner at a restaurant the nearest to the port, which name i can't remember cause its thai.
The food was pretty good, but it was pricy!

Asiatique is beautiful to walk around, and it had more unique stuff sold there such as cutlery and scents, but the clothes were pricy and not as fashionable! Plus, my mum was determined not to spend anymore money so I couldn't buy anything there ):

Day 5

It's time to go home!
Although I love my mother, spending so many days with her is an overdose!
At the airport, I finally got to try auntie anne's pretzels, and boy was I shocked by the size of it! Haha its available in Singapore but I never really gotten the chance to eat it!

Anyway, I bet you guys are pretty curious about what I bought, right!
Heheh.
I got a total of 58 items and I think I spent around $400 sing? :P
They're gonna last me a year hopefully!
Now with new clothes, I feel more ready for poly than ever! ^^
